Starting at the car park Hinterbrand this tour leads through the forest towards the middle station of the cable car.
Where you meet the ski piste which you should follow to the last drag lift via the Mitterkaseralm. here you take the sign to Stahlhaus (be careful to DAV markings). Then at the Stahlhaus to the steep wooded area. This is the most difficult but last part before the summit.
